入选标准
- •a) adults with age > 18 years
- •b) Patients getting admitted in medical emergency with sepsis, defined as
- •?Suspected or documented infection: patient having signs and symptoms of
- •infection, such as fever, leucocytosis, or localising signs (e.g.: pneumonia, urinary
- •tract infection, intraabdominal infection or skin and soft tissue infection).
- •? SOFA score of 2 or more
排除标准
- •a) Pregnant females.
- •b) Patients of cardiovascular disease who are already on statins.
- •c) Patients with malignancy.
- •d) Patients with liver failure.
- •e) Patients with myopathy.
- •f) Age <18years.
- •g) Patients with trauma.
- •h) Surgical patients.
