  • Contraindications for continuous interscalene regional anesthesia (Patient refusal of RA, known local anesthetic allergy, known diaphragm palsy of contralateral side, preoperative nerve injury of brachial plexus, inability to handle PCA system and demand a patient controlled bolus)
