入选标准
- •(1) Patients were 18-80 years old patients who will undergo primary open inguinal hernia repairs with mesh, unilateral, or bilateral.
- •(2) Group was defined as nerve excision for the intervention group (IIN) and ilioinguinal nerve preservation (IIP) for the control group in the same population group.
排除标准
- •Recurrent hernias
- •Hernia with complications like obstructed/strangulated hernia.
- •Patients not willing to get enrolled.
- •Patients not having contact phone number for follow up.
- •Patients in whom ilioinguinal nerve is not identiï¬?ed during operation.
