- •1) Recurrent HSV-1/-2 infection with visible macroscopic lesions (ulcera, bubble, erythema) of urogenital or anal mucosa with known chronic recurring HSV-infection of u / anal tract or urogenital-tract
- •2) Age = 18 Years
- •3) Capacity to communicate with the investigator
- •4) Capacity to consent
- •5) Capacty of given consent in written form

- •1) Any disease or condition that will interfer with the sampling or any medical reason that will hamper the sampling of material according to the investigator.
- •2) Lack of written informed consent
