简要总结

Physical activity is defined as any bodily movement produced by skeletal muscles that require energy expenditure, including structured activity programs such as exercises, and activities undertaken while working, playing, and carrying out household work. Regular physical activity improves physiological functioning, quality of life, and social and work participation. Five times a day, the Islamic prayer known as salah (Namaz) combines spiritual and physical practices centered around complete obedience to God. Various movements include standing, ruku, sujood, and sitting. As part of a spiritual act, the doers also perform slow and moderate exercise at the same time, which could benefit their health. During salah, there is stretching of muscles, which helps to maintain muscle tone. It decreases the risk of osteoarthritis and other comorbidities, keeps the body flexible, and prevents spasm and stiffness. Salah has similar effects, like gentle exercise that makes muscles contract isometrically and isotonically. Salah has been shown to have a positive effect on the psychological as well as the physical health of the human body.
