入选标准
- •Adult patients above 18 years with mallampati grading I and II requiring ICU admission and endotracheal intubation for mechanical ventilation.
排除标准
- •1.Patients with reduced mouth opening <5 cm and mallampatti grading
- •3 and above.
- •2.Traumatic injury to face making direct laryngoscopy difficult.
- •3.Insufficient time for inclusion and randomization.
- •4.Contraindication to orotracheal intubation
- •5.Unstable cervical spine
- •6.Refusal to participate in study by next kin
- •7.Urgent airway access is required
