Time of 1500m freestyle and OBLA were improved in 3 athletes. vLT was improved in 2 athletes. It hasn't been revealed how those physiological changes effect on 1500m freestyle. Open water swimming training might be made lower their resistance to swimming distance and they can swim high swimming velocity in beginning or end of 1500m races.
