入选标准
- •1.Controls and cases will be of both genders, aged 18 - 24 months, all consuming an adequate daily intake of energy and protein and not being breast-fed.
- •2.Controls will have good health, normal weight and height and normal gut function.
- •3.Cases will be otherwise healthy except for presence of EED and possibly stunting (HAZ < -2SD).
排除标准
- •1.For all children will be presence of chronic infection(s) or a pre-existing medical condition
- •2.Recent history ( <1 month) of intestinal or other morbidity
- •3.Antibiotic usage in the last 4 weeks of study recruitment.
