入选标准
- •Patients scheduled for elective Hip resurfacing arthroplasty
- •ASA I and II including both the sexes
- •Age group 25 to 75 years
排除标准
- •ASA III and IV
- •Patient refusal to take part in the study
- •Morbid obesity BMI greater equal to 40
- •History of focal neurological deficit
- •History of sensory or motor disorders of limb to be operated
- •History of allergy to local anaesthetics clonidine
- •History of regular opioid use
- •Infection at puncture site for both approaches of block
- •Inability to comprehend NRS pain assessment scale
- •Inability to understand the use of PCA device
