入选标准
- •1.Systemically healthy patients aged 35-70 yrs. (no history of hypertension, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, immunocompromised conditions as well as any condition that could influence the periodontal status).
- •2.Patients with no history of antibiotic, anti-inflammatory drugs, anti-oxidants and immunosuppressants use for at least 3 months before study.
- •3.Patients with moderate chronic periodontitis according to the AAP 1999 Classification (with a probing depth of =4mm and =6mm)

- •2.Betel quid or tobacco chewers
- •3.Pregnant and lactating women
- •4.Patients who underwent any periodontal treatment in last one year
