简要总结
Cervical proprioception refers to the sense of awareness of the position and movement of the neck and head. It’s a crucial aspect of maintaining balance posture and coordination With the growing use of smartphones looking down at a phone for extended periods results in neck pain and damage to the cervical spine. University students are among the most affected populations regarding smartphone overuse. Understanding the link between smartphone use and proprioceptive dysfunction is essential for promoting awareness and encouraging healthier tech habits. In this study we would categorise patient into smart phone addicted or non addicted using the Smart Phone Addiction Scale short version and compare the neck proprioception in both groups to find association between phone addiction and the neck proprioception deficits.
