入选标准
- •Surgery for newly diagnosed primary brain tumors in supratentorial area with
- •tumor size >3 cm
- •Exclusion criteria:
排除标准
- •Recurrent tumors.
- •Presence of significant co morbidities like diabetes, hypertension, liver disease,
- •ischemic heart disease, stroke, chronic renal disease etc which are known to affect the
- •coagulation system.
- •Patients on chronic anti platelet or anticoagulant therapy.
- •Patients on OCPs.
- •Patients with other hematological disorders.
- •Also excluded will be patients who have had massive blood loss and transfusion,
- •prolonged preoperative immobility, patients requiring mechanical ventilation and
- •prolonged immobilization post operatively.
- •Post operative re exploration.
