•1)Age- 18-60 years.
•2)Patients of both sexes.
•3)TSH levels greater than/equal to 4.6 mIU/L to greater than/equal to 19.9 mIU/L with or without thyroxine.
•4)Patients having clinical symptoms of Medoroga like- Ashakta sarvakarmasu,kshudra shwasa, trisha ,moha, Swapna, kathana sadana ,kshudha, sweda , daurgandhya, alpa prana, alpa maithuna, udara vriddhi etc.
•5)Patients having clinical symptoms of hypothyroidism like - Weakness, Fatigue, Muscle ache, Muscle weakness, Breathlessness, Lethargy, Hoarseness of voice, loss of libido, Menstrual abnormality, Puffiness of the face and eyelids, Peripheral edema, Weight gain, Dry coarse skin, Constipation, Hair loss, Feeling cold.

•1)Patient having TSH level greater than 19.9 mIU/ L.
•2)Recent thyroid surgery or radio-iodine (within 12 months).
•3)Uncontrolled blood sugar, hypertension.
•4)Prior clinical diagnosis of dementia.
•5)Recent acute coronary syndrome, including myocardial infarction or unstable angina.
•6)Plan to move out of the region in which the trial is being conducted within the next 2 years (proposed minimum time of study)
•7)Suffering from diseases like HIV, tuberculosis, encephalopathy, goiter, other endocrine disorders and other autoimmune disorders.
•8)Pregnancy, lactation.
•9)Any other condition/medication which interfere with the intervention.
