To compare the effect of robotic therapy with conventional therapy in upper limb spasticity treated with Botulinum toxin-A in stroke survivors

入排标准

入选标准

  • 1)Stroke patients with post stroke duration of less than 2 years
  • 2)Patient should be able to understand and follow simple verbal instructions
  • 3)Focal spasticity in upper limb with a Modified Ashworth Scale ââ?°Â¥1+ and ââ?°Â¤3

排除标准

  • 1)History of any recent trauma to upper limb.
  • 2)History of administration of botulinum toxin within 6 month.
  • 3)History of Allergic to Botulinum toxin
  • 4)Taking medication that could impair neuromuscular performance (e.g. baclofen, diazepam etc.)
  • 5)Balance problems compromising safety while performing therapy.
  • 6Pregnancy, breast-feeding, or planned pregnancy during the study
  • 7)Concurrent rehabilitation that could not be altered to the study treatment plan
