- •American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status 1 and 2
- •Scheduled for elective infraumbilical surgeries

- •Baseline blood sugar less than 70mg/dl
- •Patients allergic to local anesthetics
- •History of endocrine disorders
- •Patients on steroid supplementation
- •Any contraindication for caudal blockMalformation of spine
- •Infection around puncture site Coagulation dysfunction
