入选标准
- •Criteria for a chronic generalized periodontitis
- •1•Presence of a minimum of 15 natural teeth(excluding third molars)
- •2•Clinical and radiographic presence of pocket depth of 5-8mm and with generalized moderate alveolar bone loss and clinical attachment level of 3-4mm
- •Criteria for smoking :
- •3•Smokers(who smoked atleast 5 cigarettes a day during at least 5 years)
排除标准
- •Pregnancy or lactation
- •Use of antibiotics or periodontal treatment in the preceding 6 months
- •Concomitant medical therapy
- •Subjects with Diabetes mellitus, hypertension, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, tumours.
- •Any other systemic disease which can alter the course of periodontal disease.
