- •Patients CPB and OPCAB: Coronary artery disease with elective myocardial revascularization surgery. Healthy controls: no further criteria.

- •1. Pregnancy
- •2. Immunosuppressive therapy (within last 7 days)
- •3. CKD (eGFR < 60 ml/min)
- •4. known hematologic malignancy
- •5. HIV infection
- •6. acute or chronic inflammation
- •7. medical history of organ transplantion
