- •All adult patients who are scheduled for mediastinoscopy or oesophagectomy
排除标准
- •1.Infections or deformity of anterior neck
- •2.Unable to give valid consent
- •3.Anatomically deformity of nose or mouth making passage of fibrescope difficult
- •4.History of sensitivity to local anaesthetics or xylometazoline
- •5.Poorly controlled hypertensive patients
- •6.Pregnancy
- •7.Patient unable to understand Hindi, English or Marathi
- •8.Lower esophagectomy surgery by thoracoabdominal approach
