•1)patients scheduled to undergo orthopaedic surgeries under Spinal anesthesiafrom February 2021 to May 2022.
•2)patients of ASA physical status 1 and 2.
•3)patients of either sex.
•4)Age 18 years to 60 years.
•5)patients with height more than 160cm

•1)Body Mass Index >30
•2)Patients having chronic pain and on analgesic medications or with prior history of opioid and other substance abuse.
•3)patients with local site infection,allergy to the drugs that are tested or any other contraindications for spinal anesthesia.
•4)pregnant/Lactating women.
•5)patients having failed spinal,transformed into general anesthesia will be excluded from study.
•6)patients refusal for participation in the study.
•7)patients with height less than 160cm.
