3D-printed anatomical models provide an alternative to cadavers because they offer detailed and accurate representations of anatomy and can be touched, handled, and manipulated. In addition, they are relatively inexpensive and reproducible. Among the materials used for 3D printing in the healthcare field, light-sensitive resin is preferred because it enables the production of higher-quality and more complex structures that closely resemble real anatomical forms compared to other materials. The color of the resin and infill density used may affect the dimensions and geometric accuracy of the printed parts. Therefore, the color of the resin appears to be an important factor in creating realistic 3D models.

Participants were asked to examine the structures of real bone models and 3D models printed in different colors in a laboratory setting, and to compare and evaluate the 3D models printed in different colors with the originals. The evaluation was done using a Visual Analog Scale (VAS) consisting of 4 questions about the weight, anatomical accuracy, level of detail, and texture quality of the model. Participants were asked to mark their results on a 10 cm straight line. A VAS score of 0 indicated that the model did not resemble real bone, while a score of 10 indicated that it was identical to the original model.
