- •All patients who need a central venous catheter in the ICU as a part of their management .
排除标准
- •Refusal from patient
- •Central venous catheter insertion in emergency
- •Infection at the site of insertion
- •Restless or irritable patient
- •Failure to cannulate the desired vein
- •Severely deranged coagulopathy
- •Thrombosed vein
- •Pneumothorax or hemothorax
- •Previous neck surgeries
