•1.Patients of the age group 16-60 years for demographic analysis and 30-65 years for clinical study having Mono articular non-specific knee effusion visiting the OPD and willing to provide written, informed consent will be subjected to the study on the basis of specially prepared proforma including relevant parametres.
•2.Patients will be selected randomly,irrespective of gender,economical,educational and marital status.
•3.Patient ready to give written informed consent.

•1.Patients not ready to give an informed consent.
•2.Patients not fullfilling the inclusion criteria.
•3.Patients suffering from Mono articular specific knee effusion mainly tubercular,varioous types of specific arthritis,infections,conditions like post traumatic knee haem arthrosis.
•4.Patients suffering from any kind of Malignancy,Diabetes,Cardiac disorder,HIV,etc.
•5.Patients who are on steroids or there is history of prolonged steroids use or chemotherapeutic agents.
