- •Patients above 18 years; stable vital signs; acute abdominal pain.
- •Exclusion criteria: Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to morphine or other opioids; proven or probable pregnancy; breastfeeding; drug addiction; get an analgesic drugs since six hours before admission to the emergency department.

Morphine intravenous vs. Acetaminophen intravenous in neonates and young infants undergoing major non-cardiac surgery. - Morphine iv vs. Acetaminophen ivPatients after non-cardiac thoracic or abdominal major surgery receive Morphine as pain relief medication whereas this is associated with Morphine related side effects. In these patients a non-opioid drug could be appropriate for postoperative pain relief.
