- •2)Patients falling under category ASA 1 and ASA 2
- •3)Duration of surgery less than 2 hours

- •1. Emergency surgeries
- •2.History of difficult intubation
- •3.Difficult intubation requiring more than two attempts
- •4.Pre existing Sore throat, Hoarseness of voice
- •5. Patients falling under category ASA 3 and ASA 4
- •6.Duration of surgery more than 2 hours
- •7.Age less than 18 years
- •8. Patients with Pre operative sore throat
