入选标准
- •Systemically healthy patients, aged < 45 years and with at least 20 natural teeth in the oral cavity.
- •Patients affected and diagnosed with moderate to severe aggressive periodontitis as assessed with GI >1; probing depth (PD) > 5mm and clinical attachment loss (CAL) > 3mm with alveolar bone loss affecting > 30% of the teeth as detected on radiograph at the time of initial diagnosis.
排除标准
- •Patients with medical disorders like cardiovascular, renal disease, etc.
- •Patients with recent history of acute or chronic infection.
- •Individuals with history of tobacco chewing and smoking.
- •Pregnant and lactating females.
- •Patients with history of periodontal therapy or antibiotic &/or anti-inflammatory medication within previous 6 months.
