入选标准
- •Age 0 to 19, children and adolescents.
- •Minor head trauma, as identified with the ICD-10 codes, S00, S01, T00.0, T01.0.
排除标准
- •Patients who had a prior history of cancer (ICD-10 codes, CC00-C97, D45, D46, D47.1, D47.3, D47.4, D47.5).
- •Patients with any predisposing condition for developing cancer, such as neurofibromatosis, or with perinatal disease documented within 3 years before the cohort entry.
- •Patients who were documented to have undergone any CT examination more than 7 days before the cohort entry.
- •Patients who underwent any CT other than brain or neck CT at the time of head trauma (7 days before and after the cohort entry).
- •Patients whose follow-up duration was shorter than our predefined lag period (2 years), including those who died or developed cancer during the lag period.
- •Patients who were documented to have undergone any fluroscopy examination before the cohort entry.
