Clinical Study Of Shirish Agad In The Management Of Dadru

Shirish Agad which is having both Vishagna as well as Kushtaghna property plays a very important role in reducing almost all the symptoms of Dadru like Kandu, Utsanmandala, Raag, Pidika And Twak rookshata.

Sirish Agad was effective in Kandu, Pidiks etc. but in some cases Twak rookshata got slightly increased during treatment: it may be because of the ruksha property of the drug. It has been found to be of acute origin and was able to get good results, so it can be considered as Sadhya Vyadhi only and but proper hygene and food habits should be maintained. Topical applications are found to be producing significant improvement in the disease management, so even if it is used alone without any internal medications can produce favorable results.
