- •Both male and female children.
- •Parents who are giving consent for their children to participate in the study.
- •Children who are present during data collection.
- •Parents of children who are able to read and write Kannada, English.

- •Children who are allergic to lignocaine 2% gel.
- •Children who are undergoing emergency IV Cannulation.
- •Children who are mentally retarded.
