简要总结

This RCT will determine the effects of attention focus training which is a comprehensive intervention to improve cognitive outcomes. Attention is one of the major cognitive outcome and problems with attention can deteriorate the quality of life of people suffering from stroke. Intervention will be provided for 4 weeks. Outcomes will be assessed at baseline and after provision of intervention.

结局指标

主要结局

Test of Everyday Attention

时间窗: Baseline and post 4 weeks of intervention

Test of Everyday Attention (TEA) consists of multiple subtests assessing different aspects of attention. There is no single overall score with a defined minimum and maximum range. Each subtest has its own scoring range and is interpreted using age-adjusted normative data and percentile ranks. For all subtests, higher scores generally indicate better attentional performance.

Stroke Impact Scale

时间窗: Baseline and post 4 weeks of intervention

Stroke Impact Scale (SIS) scores range from 0 to 100 for each domain. A score of 0 indicates greatest impact of stroke or complete inability to perform tasks within that domain, while a score of 100 indicates no disability, no difficulty performing tasks, and the best possible outcome. Higher scores indicate better functioning and less impact of stroke.
