This study is a  comparative study evaluating  the effect of socket preservation with autogenous tooth graft, xenograft  graft using Cone Beam Computed Tomography at baseline, 3 months and 6 months using following parameters: Vertical ridge dimension (in mm), Horizontal ridge dimension (in mm), Density of alveolar bone.

入选标准

  • 1.Patients with teeth indicated for extraction and future implant therapy. 2.Systemically healthy individuals 3.Plaque Index and bleeding index.
  • less than 20 % 4.Individuals with high compliance and good oral hygiene practice Site criteria: 1.Single or multirooted teeth indicated for extraction- root fractures, failed endodontic treatment and advanced dental caries 2.Intact adjacent and opposing teeth. 3.Adequate width of keratinized tissue 4.Type I , II and III extraction socket morphology based on Extraction Defect Sounding (EDS) classification.

排除标准

  • 1.Individuals with any form of systemic illness 2.Individuals under radiation therapy to the head and neck region, prolonged corticosteroid therapy and other medications 3.Smokers 4.Pregnancy and lactation 5.Acute or chronic infection at the surgical site.
