- •1. Patients diagnosed with Alcohol Dependence Syndrome as per ICD-11 criteria.
- •2. Alcohol withdrawal assessment scoring guidelines (CIWA-AR) score <15. (mild to
- •moderate withdrawals as per Maudsley guidelines)
- •3. Age groups 25 and above.
- •4. Male gender.
排除标准
- •1. Patients who are known cases of epilepsy.
- •2. Patient dependent on other substances except nicotine and caffeine
- •3. Patients with past history of complicated withdrawals
- •4. Patients who are intoxicated or are in severe withdrawals.
- •5. Patients with comorbid active psychotic illness.
- •6. Actively suicidal patients.
- •7. Patients with any acute medical or surgical illness.
