- •1) Known neuromuscular diseases 2) Those received mechanical ventilation before the surgery 3) Those with tracheostomy 4) Who were extubated within 48 hours after PICU admission 5) Major anomaly in lower legs 6) Preoperative body weight less than 2500g 7) Those who were diagnosed as diaphragm paralysis, recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy, airway stenosis or laryngomalacia
