Clinical Efficacy of Lingnan Fire Acupuncture in the Treatment of Somatic and Mental Symptoms in Herpes Zoster

•(1) Age between 18-80 years old;
•(2) Comply with the diagnostic criteria for herpes zoster in the 2022 Chinese Expert Consensus on Herpes Zoster of the Dermatologists Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctors' Association, and the diagnostic criteria for snake sores in the Diagnostic Efficacy Criteria for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM);
•(3) Within 7 days after herpes zoster rash;
•(4) Anxiety self-assessment scale (SAS) score = 69 and depression self-assessment scale (SDS) score = 72;
•(5) The patients themselves signed an informed consent form to participate in this trial voluntarily.

•(1) Combined serious primary diseases such as cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, hepatic, renal and hematopoietic systems, and other organic lesions such as tumors, etc;
•(2) Those who have previous or current mental disorders such as depression and anxiety, those who are taking anti-anxiety and depression drugs in the past or at present, and those who cannot cooperate with the questionnaire because of mental or intellectual disabilities;
•(3) Those with significant coagulation disorders, patients with significant bleeding tendency or those with scarred body;
•(4) Pregnant and lactating women, and those who have had requests for childbirth in the past six months;
•(5) Those with known immunodeficiency status or history of infectious diseases such as AIDS or syphilis, history of hepatitis B antigen or hepatitis C antibody positivity, active tuberculosis, or those who have applied corticosteroids or immunosuppressants within 1 month;
•(6) belonging to special types of herpes zoster: ocular and auricular herpes zoster, tonic herpes zoster, atonic herpes zoster, anaplastic herpes zoster, herpes zoster meningitis or encephalitis, herpes zoster invasion of nerve fibers of the viscera, disseminated herpes zoster, and others (herpes zoster with herpetic, hemorrhagic, gangrenous, and other manifestations of herpes zoster);
•(7) Those who are participating in other clinical trials.
