The Indian government is striving for equitable access to quality healthcare by establishing various healthcare facilities, including public, private, and charitable ones. Despite free medical services offered at public facilities, the majority of curative health services are provided by private, for-profit healthcare providers. Understanding patients’ perceptions of good quality healthcare is crucial to comprehend why patients choose either public or private healthcare facilities.
Aim:
To study the utilization of healthcare services and various factors associated with it, in an urban area of Delhi.
Primary Objectives:1.To study the pattern of utilization of healthcare services in an urban area of Delhi.
Secondary Objectives:1.To study the various factors associated with the type of healthcare services utilized.
2.To study the satisfaction level of participants towards the healthcare services utilization.
Methodology: The study will be carried out by conducting house-to-house visits. Only if care givers are available, the information will be collected from them. For participants <18years, elderly with poor cognitive function, can’t communicate.
