简要总结

This randomized controlled trial evaluated the effects of a Health Belief Model-based telenursing intervention on self-efficacy, quality of life, blood pressure, body mass index, and health behaviors in individuals with hypertension. A total of 78 participants were randomly assigned to the intervention group (n=39) or control group (n=39). Participants in the intervention group received a 12-week telenursing intervention based on the Health Belief Model, including face-to-face education, training on home blood pressure monitoring, educational materials, weekly text messages, and telephone follow-up at weeks 2, 4, 8, and 12. The control group received usual care. Outcomes were assessed at baseline, 3 months, and 6 months.

研究组 & 干预措施

Intervention Group

Experimental

Participants received a 12-week Health Belief Model-based telenursing intervention in addition to routine care. The intervention included education, telephone follow-up, and weekly text messages.

干预措施: Health Belief Model-Based Telenursing Intervention (Behavioral)

Control Group

No Intervention

Participants received routine care without the Health Belief Model-based telenursing intervention. Outcome assessments were conducted at baseline, 3 months, and 6 months.

结局指标

主要结局

Hypertension Self-Efficacy

时间窗: Baseline, 3 months, and 6 months

Hypertension self-efficacy was assessed using the Hypertension Self-Efficacy Scale (HSES). The scale consists of 20 items, with higher scores indicating higher hypertension self-efficacy.

Health-Related Quality of Life

时间窗: Baseline, 3 months, and 6 months

Health-related quality of life was assessed using the 12-Item Short Form Health Survey (SF-12), which provides Physical Component Summary (PCS) and Mental Component Summary (MCS) scores. Higher scores indicate better health-related quality of life.

次要结局

  • Systolic Blood Pressure(Baseline, 3 months, and 6 months)
  • Diastolic Blood Pressure(Baseline, 3 months, and 6 months)
  • Body Mass Index(Baseline, 3 months, and 6 months)
