- •INR MAXIMUM 1.4

- •Laryngeal/oesophageal/tracheal carcinoma
- •Soft tissue infection of neck
- •Anatomical deformity of neck including enlarged thyroid gland
- •Haematological and terminal malignancies
- •Coagulation disorder
- •Previous tracheostomy
- •Platelet count less than or equal to 80,000
