- •All adult patients equal or greater than 18 years of age with cirrhosis admitted to Kasturba hospital, manipal under medicine units with suspected infection either clinically or on laboratory I investigations will be recruited in our study

- •Patients with contaminated blood culture and patients with malignancy and those on cancer chemotherapy
