### Therapeutic indication **Hypertension** Treatment of essential hypertension in adults. **Cardiovascular prevention** Reduction of cardiovascular morbidity in patients with: - manifest atherothrombotic cardiovascular disease (history of coronary heart disease or peripheral arterial disease) or; - type 2 diabetes mellitus with documented target organ damage.
