Sarclisa is a cancer medicine used to treat multiple myeloma (a cancer of the bone marrow). It is given: - together with the medicines pomalidomide and dexamethasone to treat adults who have received at least two previous treatments, including lenalidomide and a proteasome inhibitor, and whose cancer has worsened since receiving the last treatment; - together with the medicines carfilzomib and dexamethasone to treat adults who have received at least one previous treatment; - together with the medicines bortezomib, lenalidomide and dexamethasone to treat adults who have not received previous treatment and who cannot receive an autologous stem cell transplant (a transplant of the patient's own blood-producing cells). Sarclisa contains the active substance isatuximab.
Therapeutic Indication
### Therapeutic indication Sarclisa is indicated: - in combination with pomalidomide and dexamethasone, for the treatment of adult patients with relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma (MM) who have received at least two prior therapies including lenalidomide and a proteasome inhibitor (PI) and have demonstrated disease progression on the last therapy. - in combination with carfilzomib and dexamethasone, for the treatment of adult patients with multiple myeloma who have received at least one prior therapy (see section 5.1).
