- <p><strong>How much and how often should you use this medicine?</strong><br>
Hirudoid® Forte Cream is for EXTERNAL USE ONLY. DO NOT SWALLOW.</p>
<p>Always use Hirudoid® Forte Cream according to the instruction of this package insert. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.</p>
<p>If not otherwise directed, the product should be applied to the affected area 2–3 times daily. Depending on the size of the area to be treated, a length of 3–5 cm of cream is usually sufficient. If necessary, it may be used more frequently.</p>
<p>Treatment with Hirudoid® Forte Cream should be continued until the symptoms subsided. The usual treatment period is about 1–4 weeks.</p>
<p>In the case of very painful inflammation, distribute Hirudoid® Forte Cream carefully on the affected area and cover it with a dressing. In these cases, the cream should not be rubbed or massaged into the skin.</p>
<p>Avoid contact with the eyes or the mucous membranes.</p>

Hirudoid® Forte Cream is an anti-thrombotic and anti-inflammatory preparation for percutaneous treatment of inflammation of the veins such as superficial thrombophlebitis, varicose veins and swelling.</p>
