QED-203 is being developed by the Queensland Emory Drug Discovery Initiative (搜索) (QEDDI (搜索)), the small molecule drug discovery arm of UniQuest (搜索), the university's commercialization company. Professor Monteith, an expert on calcium signaling (搜索) in cancer from UQ's School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, began research on this specific target nearly 15 years ago.
