The company estimates that more than 600,000 patients in the United States living with metastatic cancer and limited treatment options could benefit from improved therapy selection tools.
Functional Proteomics Platform Technology
Ignite's platform utilizes Reverse Phase Protein Array (RPPA) technology to measure phospho- and total-protein biomarkers directly from tumor biopsy samples. This functional proteomics approach focuses on the biological activity of proteins within cancer cells, which can play a critical role in determining whether targeted therapies will be effective.
