The round was led by ALK-Abelló, with participation from HighLight Capital (搜索), Lichtsteiner Foundation, and co-founding investor Forty51 Ventures (搜索).
Strategic Focus on Mast Cell Modulation
Founded in 2023, Allegria is building a portfolio of proprietary therapeutic approaches designed to selectively modulate mast cells, with a primary focus on allergies and related inflammatory conditions. The company has identified molecules it believes could support first-in-class and best-in-disease potential across multiple indications tied to uncontrolled mast cell activation.

Partnership with ALK-Abelló Strengthens Development Pipeline
The financing deepens Allegria's relationship with ALK-Abelló, a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on allergy and allergic asthma. As part of the investment, Dr. Peter Sejer Andersen has joined Allegria's board as a non-executive director, bringing additional expertise to the company's strategic direction.

Academic Collaborations Support Discovery Efforts
Allegria has established collaborations with academic and clinical partners to support mast cell biology research, drug discovery, and preclinical evaluation. Key partnerships include Prof. Dr. Martin Metz at Charité's Institute for Allergology in Berlin and Ap. Prof. Dr. Philipp Starkl at the Medical University of Vienna, providing the company with access to specialized expertise in mast cell research and allergic disease mechanisms.
Addressing Unmet Medical Needs
The new capital will be used to progress Allegria's lead program toward preclinical candidates and nominate its first clinical candidate, while also advancing discovery-stage programs. The company has assembled an experienced core team and advisory board to support its development efforts in addressing the significant burden of allergic and inflammatory diseases.
