The order represents continued commercial adoption of the company's synthetic DNA manufacturing technology for cancer diagnostic applications.
The follow-on order was placed under a long-standing supply agreement for the bulk manufacture of LineaDNA (搜索) used as a functional component of a cancer diagnostic test. Deliveries are scheduled across four quarterly shipments beginning in the second quarter of fiscal 2026, ending March 31, 2026.
LineaDNA Platform Technology
The LineaDNA (搜索) platform represents a proprietary, cell-free DNA production system that leverages Applied DNA's expertise in large-scale polymerase chain reaction (PCR (搜索)) technology. Unlike conventional plasmid-based DNA production methods, the LineaDNA platform produces high-fidelity DNA that is free of adventitious sequences, rapidly scalable, and readily amenable to chemical modification.
The platform can generate DNA ranging from 100 base pairs to 20 kilobases in quantities from milligrams to grams under research use only (RUO), good laboratory practice (GLP), and good manufacturing practice (GMP) quality grades.
