The collaboration significantly enhances BC Platforms' global patient catchment, adding more than 12 million patient lives from India and approximately 500,000 from the UAE to their existing network of over 187 million patients across 35 countries.
Addressing Critical Data Gaps in Global Research
The partnership directly tackles a significant disparity in global medical research representation. Despite India accounting for nearly 20% of the world's population and playing an increasingly important role in global drug development, South Asian populations represent less than approximately 2% of participants in global genome-wide association studies.
