核心洞察
CareDx reported second-quarter revenue of $132 million, a 52% year-over-year increase driven by demand across transplant programs and favorable reimbursement dynamics.
Adjusted net income more than tripled to $20 million, or $0.37 per share, significantly exceeding Wall Street's consensus estimate of $0.23 per share.
The company raised its full-year revenue outlook to $490–$500 million and adjusted EBITDA guidance to $66–$78 million, citing continued profitable growth.
Shares of CareDx (NASDAQ: CDNA) climbed on Friday after the precision medicine diagnostics company lifted its full-year sales and earnings forecast, fueled by a 52% surge in second-quarter revenue and a more than tripling of adjusted net income.
The company reported quarterly revenue of $132 million, up from the prior-year period, reflecting what management described as "continued demand across transplant programs, favorable reimbursement dynamics, and increases in testing activity across both surveillance and for-cause settings."
Adjusted net income reached $20 million, or $0.37 per share, far surpassing Wall Street's consensus estimate of $0.23 per share. The company's gross margin stood at 70.11%.
CMS Coverage Affirmation Bolsters Transplant Testing
Earlier in the month, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) affirmed coverage for CareDx's surveillance testing for kidney, heart, and lung transplants. The regulatory clarity provides a stable reimbursement foundation for the company's non-invasive diagnostic tests, which enable physicians to monitor transplant patient health without invasive procedures.
Raised Full-Year Outlook
Building on the strong quarterly performance, CareDx raised its full-year revenue guidance to a range of $490 million to $500 million, up from the previous forecast of $447 million to $465 million. Management also increased its adjusted EBITDA projection to $66 million to $78 million, compared with the earlier range of $43 million to $57 million.
Strategic Expansion into Oncology
CareDx's recently completed acquisition of oncology diagnostics provider Naveris (搜索) is expected to accelerate the company's expansion beyond transplant medicine. The deal positions CareDx to leverage its molecular diagnostics platform in the oncology space.
"We have transformed CareDx into a differentiated precision molecular diagnostics company with a unique set of core competencies that position us for continued profitable growth," said CEO John Hanna.
The company's market capitalization now stands at approximately $2.3 billion, with shares trading near the upper end of their 52-week range.
