TissueCypher (搜索) is designed as an AI-driven precision medicine test to predict a patient’s risk of progression from Barrett’s esophagus to esophageal cancer (搜索). Barrett's esophagus (搜索), a complication often resulting from gastroesophageal reflux disease (搜索) (GERD), involves changes to the cellular structure in the esophageal lining, potentially elevating the risk of esophageal cancer. Approximately 5% of the US population is estimated to have BO.
The TissueCypher (搜索) test analyzes cancer-associated biomarkers to identify a molecular signature indicative of BO progression, potentially preceding visible tissue alterations. It is intended for use in patients with endoscopic biopsy-confirmed BO, classified as non-dysplastic (NDBE), indefinite for dysplasia (IND), or low-grade dysplasia (LGD).
