The approval was based on the favorable recommendation from the Subject Expert Committee (SEC) of the CDSCO, following extensive non-clinical and clinical studies conducted over 15 years in the U.S., Europe, South Africa, and India.
Addressing Antibiotic Resistance and Hospitalization
CABP (搜索) affects millions globally, with India bearing 23% of the worldwide disease burden. Current oral antibiotics, such as azithromycin, face increasing resistance, while amoxicillin/clavulanate (搜索) lacks coverage against atypical pathogens.
