Novel AAV-Based Therapeutic Approach
The project will develop a one-time, intravitreal AAV-based gene therapy designed to deliver a functional copy of the L-opsin gene (搜索) directly to cone photoreceptor cells (搜索) in the retina. The treatment aims to restore the function of red and green photoreceptors, which are disrupted by genetic mutations in individuals with BCM (搜索).
