Curis to Present Emavusertib Clinical Data in CNS Lymphoma at Society for Neuro-Oncology Meeting
核心洞察
Curis (搜索) will present clinical data on emavusertib, an oral IRAK4 (搜索) inhibitor, combined with BTK (搜索) inhibitors in primary and secondary CNS lymphoma patients at the 30th Annual SNO Meeting.
The presentations will include safety and efficacy data from relapsed/refractory primary CNS lymphoma patients treated with emavusertib and ibrutinib combination therapy.
Three clinical presentations and one preclinical presentation will showcase genetic mutation profiles, CNS pharmacokinetics, and promising efficacy signals in CNS lymphoma treatment.
Curis (搜索), Inc. will present clinical data on its investigational IRAK4 (搜索) inhibitor emavusertib (CA-4948) in central nervous system lymphoma at the 30th Annual Meeting of the Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO) from November 19-23, 2025. The biotechnology company will showcase results from combination therapy studies targeting both primary and secondary CNS lymphoma, rare and aggressive brain cancers with limited treatment options.
Clinical Data Presentations Focus on BTK Inhibitor Combinations
The company will present three clinical data presentations examining emavusertib in combination with BTK (搜索) inhibitors for CNS lymphoma treatment. Dr. Christian Grommes from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center will present an analysis of genetic mutation profiles and CNS pharmacokinetics in relapsed/refractory primary CNS lymphoma patients responding to the novel emavusertib and BTK inhibitor combination on November 21 and 22.
Dr. Lakshmi Nayak from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute will present preliminary safety and efficacy data of emavusertib combined with ibrutinib in relapsed/refractory primary central nervous system lymphoma patients on November 21. Additionally, Cecilia A. Merrigan from Mayo Clinic will present data showing promising efficacy signals in secondary CNS lymphoma patients treated with emavusertib and ibrutinib on November 22.
Preclinical Research Expands to Brain Metastases
Beyond CNS lymphoma applications, Curis (搜索) will present preclinical data on targeting Myddosome signaling to improve immunotherapy in melanoma brain metastases. Dr. Christina von Roemeling from the University of Florida will deliver this oral presentation on November 23, demonstrating the broader potential of IRAK4 (搜索) inhibition in CNS malignancies.
Orphan Drug Status Supports Development Path
Emavusertib has received Orphan Drug Designation from both the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the European Commission for primary CNS lymphoma treatment, providing regulatory incentives for this rare disease indication. The oral, small molecule IRAK4 (搜索) inhibitor is currently being evaluated in the TakeAim Lymphoma Phase 1/2 study (CA-4948-101) in combination with ibrutinib for relapsed/refractory primary CNS lymphoma patients.
The drug candidate is also being studied as monotherapy in the TakeAim Leukemia Phase 1/2 study for acute myeloid leukemia and high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome, and as frontline combination therapy with venetoclax and azacitidine in AML patients. Curis (搜索) holds exclusive licensing rights to emavusertib through its 2015 collaboration with Aurigene Discovery Technologies Limited (搜索).
